VITREOUS HUMOR   jellylike substance that fills the area behind the lens. It helps maintain the shape of the eyeball. It refracts (bends) to light rays.

CORNEA   CIRCULAR, TRANSPARENT PART OF THE FRONT OF THE EYE. It allows light rays to enter the eye

CONES   nerve cells that is sensitive to color and used while it is lightness. Located in the retina area

RODS   Nerve cells used for vision when it is dark or dim. Rods are in the retina

LENS   is the circular structure located behind the pupil. It refracts(bends) to light rays do the rays focus on the retina.

pinna or auricle ear   visible part of the ear, elastic cartilage covered by skin

auditory canal   visible external canal leading into the ear

tympanic membrane   separates the outer ear from the middle ear. It vibrates the sound waves to middle ear.

Ossicles   3 bones malleus, the incus, and the stapes. The transmit sound from tympanic membrane to inner ear

Eustachian tube   connects the middle ear to pharynx. helps equalizes the air pressure

vestibule   first part of the inner ear, that is an entrance into the cochlar

cochlea   shaped like a snail's shell, it has the organ of corti, receptor of sound waves

Semicircular canals   located in the inner ear, delicate hair-like cells that bend when liquids moves with head and body movements
