Cirrus Clouds | form in cold air at very high altitudes; made of ice crystals and have a wispy or feathery appearance; mean fair weather, but can be a sign that a storm is approaching

Cumulus Clouds | puffy, white, and look like cotton balls; are a sign of fair weather; however as they continue to grow taller and darken at the bottom, they can produce thunder showers (become cumulonimbus clouds)

Stratus Clouds | smooth, layered. and block out the sun, causing the entire sky to look gray; produce steady, light precipitation

Fog | a cloud that rests on the ground or a body of water; forms when a surface is colder than the air above it. It clears as the ground is heated up by sunlight.
