Ecological footprint | The impact of a total person or community on the environment, expressed, as the amount of land required to sustain their use of natural resources.

Bio-productive | Able to produce and sustain living organisms.

Carrying capacity | The maximum population (number of people, living organisms, or crops) that an region will support without undergoing deterioration.

Limiting factors | A resource or environmental condition that limits the growth, abundance, or population, of organisms in a ecosystem.

Biomass | The total mass of organisms in a habitat in a given area or volume.
