Longitude   The Measured distance east or west from the prime meridian of a point on the earth's surface,

Hemisphere   Half of a circle. The earth is divided into 4 hemispheres (North, South, East, and West)

Prime Meridian   An imaginary line that stretches around the world. It is 0 degrees longitude.

Equator   An imaginary line around that circles the earth. The line is equal distance from the North and South poles. The equator is 0 degrees latitude.

Aztec   A Pre-Columbian civilization that lived in Central America. Known for their large pyramids, human sacrifices, and strong armies.

Tenochtitlan   The capital of the Aztec Empire, currently known as Mexico City.

Sapa Inca   The leader of the Incan Empire. Worshiped as the Son of the Sun.

Inca   A Pre-Columbian civilization that lived in the Andes Mountains. Known for their stone work and elaborate road system.
