period   A group of 3 digits in a number, separated by commas, starting from the right.

compare   To find out which number is greater and which number is less. Example: 7 is greater than 5 and 5 is less than 7.

order   To write numbers from greatest to least or form least to greatest. Example: Order, 9, 2, and 3 from least to greatest: 2, 3 9.
