Draft | A view that simplifies the page layout for quick typing and can show more text on a smaller screen |
Drag | To hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse pointer over text to select it |

Insertion Point | The location in the Word window, indicated by a blinking vertical line |

Bold | A set of type characters that are darker and heavier than normal. |

Clipart | A collection of pictures or images that can be imported into a document or another program |
Drawing | Utilizing any of the shapes |
Painting | Using color to fill shapes |
Menu Bar | A row of titles found on the ribbon |
Shortcut Menu | A context-sensitive list that displays when you click the right mouse button |
Print Preview | Allows a user to view what a printed version of the document would look like |
Scroll Bar | A vertical or horizontal bar commonly located on the far right or bottom of the window that allows a user to move the window up, down, left, and right |
Maximize | Makes the work area larger |
Minimize | Makes the work area smaller |
Close | Exit out of the page or tab |
Font Color | What color your typeface is going to be |
Tabs | Task that are divided into actions and sit across the top of the Ribbon |
Title Bar | In the Word window, the location of the Minimize, Maximize, and Close Button. Also gives the name of the your document |
Underline | A line under a typeface of any kind. It show importance |
Cut | Removes the selections from the document and adds it to the clipboard |
Paste | Inserts the contents of the clipboard into a documents |
Copy | Duplicates the selection and puts in in the clipboard |
Window Border | The outside of your page or tab, used to adjust size of workspace. |
Ruler | Used to measure and line up objects in your document |
Workspace | Area available for creating documents |
