glandular epithelium secretes products through ducts or into open spaces
extracellular matrix composed of protein fibers and a ground substance containing nonferrous protein and other molecules and fluids
fibroblast produces fibers by secreting proteins into the extracellular matrix of connective tissues

adipose tissue develops when certain cells store fat as droplets in their cytoplasm and enlarge (store fat)
cartilage supports, protects, and forms structural models
skeletal muscle found in muscles that attach to bones (conscious movement)
smooth muscle spindle shaped (Unconscious movement)
cardiac muscle found only in the heart (Unconscious movement)
neurons nerve cells
nervous tissue spine, brain, peripheral nerves
red blood cells move oxygen throughout the body
white blood cells fight diseases
plasma little bit of everything
platelet clots blood and creates scabs
