What is the order of the planets? Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
What is 3 facts about Merucury? Smallest planet in our solar system, no atmosphere, revolution is 88 Earth days
What is 3 facts about Venus? "Sister" to earths size, hottest planet because of the green house effect. Revaluation is 243 Earth days.
What is 3 facts about Earth? Only planet know to support life, has a magnetosphere which deflects harmful electromagnetic rays from the sun, Revolution is every 365 Earth days
What is 3 facts about Mars? Called the "Red Planet", as largest dust storms, revolution is 687 Earth Days.
What is 3 facts about Jupiter? Largest planet, has a great red spot, has many moons (Ganymede is the largest moon in the solar system), and revolution 12 earth years
What is 3 facts about Saturn? Has rings made out of ice and dust, has very low density, and revolution period is 29 Earth years.
What is 3 facts about Uranus? Axis are sideways (rotates north and south), 13 sets of rings, revolving period is 84 Earth years.
What is 3 facts about Neptune? Smaller than Uranus but has a greater mass, Has a Great Dark spot, revaluation is 165 Earth years, Coldest planet

Largest planet in our solar system? Jupiter
What planet rotates north and south? Uranus
Smallest planet in our solar system and is closest to the sun? Mercury
Has many rings made out of dust and ice? Saturn
Whats the hottest planet? Venus
What is smaller than Uranus but has a larger mass. Neptune
What is a light year? A distance light travels in one year.
What is a galaxy? A system of millions/billions of stars.
What is an Elliptical Galaxy? An oval-shaped, composed of older low-mass stars, that is the most abundant galaxy in the universe.
What is an Irregular galaxy? A no define bulge, with no clear shape, that is leftovers of two colliding galaxies.
What is an Spiral Galaxy? A spiral galaxy with arms, and a dense center.
What type of galaxy is the Milky Way? Spiral galaxy.
What is the order of the Moon Phases? full Moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full Moon, waning gibbous, third quarter, waning crescent.
What is a full Moon? First phase, appears unlit, Moon is between Earth and the Sun.
What is a waxing crescent? Second phase that starts to appear, light is on the right.
What is a first quarter? Moon is one quarter through the cycle, is half lit on the right.
What is a waxing gibbous? More than half lit on the right, light is shaped like a football.
What is a full Moon? Appears fully lit, Earth is between the Sun and the Moon.
What is a waning gibbous? appears to be lit less on the left. Light is now decreasing.
What is a third quarter? The moon is half lit on the left.
What is a waning crescent? The moon has almost dissapeared, but there is a bit of light on the left.
What planet has the Great dark spot? Neptune
What planet has great red spot? Jupiter
