Science: Light and Sound

What are the properties of light? Light travels in a straight line, light reflects off shiny surfaces, light bends when passing through water, white light is made up of many colours, light bends and spreads out when passing through an opening.
What are the properties of sound? sound travels, sound can be absorbed or reflected, sound can be modified.
Light and sound are forms of what? energy
What is sound created by? vibrations
To see, what is required? light
What are two examples of natural light sources? the sun and fireflies
What are 3 examples of artificial light? a candle, fireworks, a light bulb
What are 3 examples of objects that can produce their own light? Stars, candle, light bulb
What are 3 examples of objects that reflect light off of other sources? the moon, safety reflectors, minerals
