What is an amino acid chain called? Polypeptide
What are the four different structures of Proteins in order? Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Quaternary
What is the Primary Structure? Specific linear sequence of amino acids
What is the Secondary Structure? Chains folded in 3 different ways
What is the Tertiary Structure? Total irregular folding, creating a 3-D shape
What is the Quaternary Structure? Two or more polypeptide chains interact to form a protein
What is the main compound in living cells? Water
