diffusion and osmosis

What is diffusion? Is the movement of molecules so they mix
What is osmosis? Osmosis is special type of diffusion where the membrane has tiny holes which let water molecules through but stop larger molecules like sugar
How does oxygen move from the blood into body cells? Oxygen is carried in the blood, so they diffuse from the blood into the cell
What is a concentration gradient? Is where particles move from areas with levels of high concentration, to low concentration
What is an isotonic solution? Is where there is equal solution inside and outside of the cell
What is a hypertonic solution? Is where there is lower concentration in the cell and water is moved out of the cell
What is a hypotonic solution? Is where water goes into the cell and concentration is higher in the cell
