what is a wave? a wave is sound, light, mechanical, and electromagnetic.
what is the highest point of the wave? the crest.
what is a mechanical wave? a wave that require a medium.
what is work? w=force * distance
what is force? it is a push or a pull exerted on an object.
what is it called when the wave moves up and down as the wave passes? transverse wave
what is frequency measured in? (Hz)
what is an electromagnetic wave? a wave that don't require a medium.
what is a medium? it is the material in which the wave travels through.
what is the lowest point of the wave? the trough.
how is wavelength defined? is the distance from one point to another.
how is amplitude defined? is a measure of how far particles in the medium move from their rest position.
what is frequency? is the number of waves that pass a point in a given amount of time.
