What is a monochromatic color scheme? Color scheme consisting of tints and shades of one color.
What is an analogous color scheme? Color scheme including three or more colors located directly next to each other on the color wheel.
What is an accented neutral color scheme? Color scheme with a base color of a neutral tune including a color wheel color asan accent.
What color scheme is 2 colors opposite on the color wheel? Complementary Color Scheme.
How many colors in a split complemetary color scheme? Three.
Name the Primary colors. Yellow, Red, and Blue
Name the secondary colors. Orange, Purple, and Green
What is the value of a color? The lightness or darkness of a color.
What is the intensity of a color mean? The brightness or dullness of a color.
What is the hue? The color itself, created by different wavelengths released.
How do you make a tint? A saturated color mixed with pure white.
How do you make a shade? A saturated color mixed with pure black.
What are the warm colors? Red, Orange, Yellow
What are the cool colors? Blue, Green, Purple
What are the neutral colors? White, Grey, Brown, Tan, Black
What is unique about the Primary colors? They cannot be made by any other colors.
Name three tertiary colors. (Blue- Green, Blue-Violet, Red-Violet, Red-Orange, Yellow-Orange, Yellow-Green)
What is the proper way to name a tertiary color? Primary-Secondary
What is another name for tertiary colors? Intermediate
