Rugae: | folds in the mucous membrane lining the stomach |

Defecation: | the expulsion or passage of feces from the body through the anus |
Gallbladder: | a pear-shaped, sac under the liver |
Pancreas: | a dual organ, working both in the digestive & endocrine system |
Anorexia: | lack of appetite |
Borborygmus: | rumbling or gurgling noise produced by movement of gas, fluid or both in the gastrointestinal tract. |
Peptic ulcer: | open sore in the lining of the stomach or duodenum. |
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): | (IBS) group of gastrointestinal symptoms associated w/ stress & tension. |
