| when does color occur? | when lights in different wave lengths stirke our eyes.

| objects do not have colors of their own. what do they have the ability to do? | the have the ability to reflect certain wavelenghts to the eye. the color depends on lighting.

| what is hue? | color.

| what are the primary colors? | red, yellow, blue. they make every other color

| what are secondary colors? | colors that are made from equal parts of two primary colors. orange, violet, and green.

| what are tertiary colors? | equal parts of one primary and one secondary color. yellow orange, yellow green, blue green, blue violet, red violet, red orange.

| are all colors saturated? | yes.

| what is a monochromatic color scheme? | tints and shades of one color.

| what is an analogous color scheme? | neighbors on the color wheel. usually three colors.

| what is a complementary color scheme? | 2 colors that are across form eachother on ethe color wheel.

| what is a triadic color scheme? | the colors equally apart on color wheel.

||||
| what is a split complementary? | Y shaped colors on wheel.

| what is a nuetral color scheme? | any combo of blacks, greys, whites, browns, and tans.

| what is intensity? | brightness or dullness of a color.

| what is value? | amount of black or white added to color.
🗑

| what are elements? | color, line, texture, shape/ form, space.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
To hide a column, click on the column name.
To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.
You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.
Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
