when does color occur?   when lights in different wave lengths stirke our eyes.

objects do not have colors of their own. what do they have the ability to do?   the have the ability to reflect certain wavelenghts to the eye. the color depends on lighting.

what is hue?   color.

what are the primary colors?   red, yellow, blue. they make every other color

what are secondary colors?   colors that are made from equal parts of two primary colors. orange, violet, and green.

what are tertiary colors?   equal parts of one primary and one secondary color. yellow orange, yellow green, blue green, blue violet, red violet, red orange.

what is a tint?   color plus white.

what is value?   amount of black or white added to color.
