        Help!

Question
Answer
cell plate   Plant cells use this in cell division but animal cells do not, because they don’t have a cell wall.
🗑
cytokinesis   The division of the cytoplasm.
🗑
mitosis   The division of the nucleus in ‘body cells.’
🗑
meiosis   Cell division in sex cells.
🗑
prophase   The first period in mitosis when the chromasomes become visible and the nuclear membrane starts to disappear.
🗑
binary fission   method of reproduction used by bacteria.
🗑
asexual reproduction   The production of offspring from one parent only.
🗑
metaphase   Period in mitosis when the chromosomes move to the center of the cell.
🗑
spindle fibers   Made of microtubules, some of these attach to the chromosomes to separate them during mitosis.
🗑
telophase   The last stage in mitosis when the nuclear membrane starts to reform and the chromosomes return to their less tightly coiled state.
🗑
anaphase   A stage in mitosis when chromosomes are pulled to opposite ends or poles of the cell.
🗑
gametes   Haploid reproductive cells.
🗑

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.

To hide a column, click on the column name.

To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.

You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.

Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
