| Anterior | front of the body

| Posterior | back of the body

| Superior | something being higher (more towards the head) than something else

| Inferior | something being closer to the ground than something else

| Medial | something being closer to the midline than something else

| Lateral | something this is further away from the midline

| Proximal | structures on a limb that are closer to the attachment of that limb to the trunk of the body

||||
| Distal | structures on a limb that are further from the attachment of that limb to the trunk of the body

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
To hide a column, click on the column name.
