| How do you percieve white? | White is percieved when light in different wavelengths strike your eye. Also, white appears different depending on weather you view them under incandescent, florescent, or natural sinlight.

| How do you percieve black? | Black is precived when no light is present or if it is in natural sunlight.

| What is hue? | Hue is color itself. Each hue is a different wavelength of light.

| What are primary colors? | The 3 basic colors that are used to create all of the other colors. The 3 main colors are blue, red, and yellow.

| What are secondary colors? | They are 3 colors made up of equal parts of 2 primary colors and those colors are green, violet, and orange.

| What are tertiary colors? | It is a form of when equal parts of 1 primary and one secondary color are put together. These colors are red-violet, blue-violet, blue-green, yellow-green, yellow-orange, and red-orange.

| What is a saturated color? | Saturated colors are used in the color wheel and since there is no black or white in them, it makes them saturated.

| What 3 groups make up the color wheel? | Primary; Secondary; Tertiary.

| What is a tint? | A tint is a saturated color mixed with white and the color becomes lighter.

| What is a shade? | A shade is a saturated color mixed with pure black color and the more black added to the color, the darker the color will become.

| What are the three colors that are considered to be warm colors? | Red; Orange; Yellow.

| What are the three colors considered to be cool colors? | Blue; Green; Violet.

| What are the five neutral colors? | Black, Grey, White, Brown, & Tan.

| What are 6 types of color harmonies? | Monochromatic, Analogous, Complementary, Triadic, Split Complemenary, & Neutral.

| What is Monochromatic Color Harmony? | A color scheme only using shades of one color. Ex: Navy Blue, Bright Blue, Baby blue.

| What is Analogous Color Harmony? | It is done by using 3 or more colors that are next to each other in the color wheel. Ex: Red, Red violet, violet.

| What is Complementary Color Harmony? | It's 2 colors that are exactly across from each other on a color wheel. Ex: Yellow & Purple; Green & Red.

| What is a triadic color harmony? | It is 3 colors that are located within equal distance of each other. Ex: Red, Blue, Yellow.

| What is a split complementary scheme? | This is created by using any color and the 2 colors located next to the colors that compliment. Ex: Orange, Blue Green, Blue Violet.

| What is a neutral color scheme? | It's any combinatinon of Blacks, Whites, Greys, Tans, & Browns.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
To hide a column, click on the column name.
To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.
You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.
Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
