STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS OF CT   1) Cells: different cells for different type of CT…..bone cells, cartilage cells, fat cells2) Protein fibers: elastic fibers, collagen, reticular fibers3) Ground substance: a mixture of proteins and carbohydrates with variable amounts of salts and H2O
