Whole Numbers   The set of counting numbers and zero  
Integers   The set of Whole numbers and their additive inverses  
Rational Numbers   The set of all a/b where a=Interger and b= natural  
Union   To bring together 2 or more sets  
Intersection   To bring together what is in common between 2 or more sets  
Absolute Value   The distance of a number from the origin  
Reflexive   7=7, a=a  
Symmetric   if a=b, then b=a  
Transitive   If a=b and b=c then a=c  
Zero Property   a*0=0  
Distributive Property   a (b+c)=ab+ac  
Additive Inverse   a+-a=0  
Additive identity   9+0=9  
Communitive property of + and *   a+b=b+a, ab=ba  
Multiplicative Inverse   b*1/b=1  
Multiplicative Identity   12*1=12, x*1=x  
Associative Property of + or *   (a+b)+c=a+(b+c)
