| What three groups of people saw a lot of improvement in their lives? | Workers, as the unemployment rate dropped and wages went up. Farmers, as new technology developed and the weather was good. Women got a chance to show they were just as good as men

| Define internment | Confinement. Hawaii was forced to intern 1444 Japanese Americans at the beggining of WWII

| What happened to Japanese Americans on the West Coast? | Most were rounded up and sent to prison camps because they "threatened national security

| What is JACL? | The Japanese American Citizens League fought the government to get reparations for everything they had lost during internment
