2. Multiply normally
3. Insert decimals in the answer as many decimal places as there are in the problem

| Steps to divide numbers containing decimals | 1. Set up division box with the divisor on the outside, and the number being divided on the inside
2. Only divide by a whole number
3. Move the decimal of th enumber being divided
