plaque a hard substance that builds up in blood vessels and limits the flow of the blood.
atria the two top chambers of the heart.
capillaries small blood vessels that connect arteries to venules.
deoxygenated having the oxygen removed.
platelets pieces of cells that prevent blood clotting.
pulmonary relating to the lungs
ventricles the two lower chambers of he heart.
hemoglobin a substance in red blood cells that helps carry oxygen throughout the body.
