CELL MEMBRANE- "gate keeper" controls what goes in & out

CYTOSKELETON- maintains cell shape

LYSOSOMES- digests bacteria

VESICLE- membrane-bouned sac

CYTOPLASM- gel-like substance between membrane & nucleus

NUCLEUS- "The Big Head" directs all cell sctivity

NUCLEAR MEMBRANE- double membrane; protects membrane

CHROMATIN- produces genetic material

NUCLEOLUS- produces subuitsof ribosomes

SMOOTH ER- produces lipids (fats)

RIBOSOSOMES- protein synthesis ;produces proteins

MITICHODRION- "Power House" produces energy

GOLGI BODY- processes, packages & modifies cell products

DIFFUSION- takes consentration frm high to low levels to distribute evenly.

FACILIATED DIFFUSION- acts as tunnels; allows particles to fall through

ACTIVE TRANSPORT- goes against concentration

ENDOCYTOSIS- brings things into cell

EXOCYTOSIS- exspells things from cell

OSMOSIS- semi-permable membrane
