oxygen usage of microbes Test #2

obligate aerobe strictly aerobic must have oxygen to grow (grows on top of tube)
microaerophile grow best at low oxygen levels, less than atmospheric levels (grows in middle)
facultative anaerobes use oxygen if it is available, but can also grow without it (anaerobic), or at any oxygen level (more at top and some throughout)
aerotolerant anaerobes never use oxygen, but not inhibited by it (throughout)
obligate anaerobes grow only in the absence of oxygen, inhibited by it (grows at bottom)
