HYGIENE FACTOR  Work condition related to the dissatisfaction caused by discomfort or pain.  
MOTIVATOR FACTOR  Facets of work conditions related to satisfaction of the need for growth.  
VERTICAL LOADING  Job enrichment by pulling down responsibilities from above and pushing tasks down to a lower level.  
HORIZONTAL LOADING  Job enlargement by pushing tasks into earlier work or by pulling tasks into later stages of the job.  
TRUSTEE-OF-PROFIT PHILOSOPHY  The sole responsibility of an business is to make profits.  
ENLIGHTENED-SELF-INTEREST PHILOSOPHY  Social goals are one of the overall goals of an organization.  
PROFIT-QUEST APPROACH  Attaining a high standard of living as a result of the private enterprise system in the USA.
