Science 2nd Quiz

What is diffusion? Diffusion is the movement of molecules from an area of high concentration to low concentration.
What is Osmosis? Osmosis is the movement of water molecules from an are of high concentration to low concentration.
What happens to vegetables when you leave them sitting unwrapped in the refrigerator? The vegetables will limp because it will lose water molecules.
How do you prevent the vegetables from limping when they are left open? You can prevent this by putting the vegetables in hot water so that the water molecules move back into the vegetable or by spraying water.
