Water Test

evaporation turns water into water vapor by absorbing energy
buoyancy fluid force pushes opposite of water. (pushes up against gravity to make object stay afloat)
density (formula) d = m / v
eutrophication nutrient grow algae and kill the pond/lake (ponds dying)
watershed area drained by river and all of its tributaries
divide the spot that splits whether rivers flow east or west
aquifer underground water storage (an underground layer of rock or soil that holds water)
tributary river, stream, creek flowing into a main river (the little streams that run into big river)
delta form oceans, need erosion and a crescent shaped lake is formed when meander changes river flow
flood plain land area that usually floods
wetland land area that is covered with shallow water
saturated soil that can't hold any more water
