Simulation a way of acting out a problem situation
Probability the chance that something will happen
Experimental Probability when you use a simulation to find out the probability of something occuring
Theoretical Probability what "should" happen or what you can reasonably expect to happen
Outcome the possibile things that could happen
Event the specific outcome you are lokking for
Ways to Show Probability fraction, decimal, percent
Sample Space everything that could possibly occur
Tree Diagram will show you all the possible outcomes of an event
Permutation order is important, the order in which things are listed makes a difference
Combination order is not important, the order in which things are listed does not make a difference
Survey asking for a response to a question, it is a way to collect information
Population the "thing" or group being asked about
Sample a part of the population
A GOOD Sample random selection, represents population, large enough to provide accurate data
Independent Event outcome of one event does not affect the outcome of another event
Dependent Event outcome of one event affects the outcome of the next event
