pulley a wheel that has a grove along its edges.
inclined plane any flat sloping surface.
wedge 2 or more iclined planes put together.
screw an inclined plane wrapped around a cilinder or cone.
compound machine a devise made up of 2 or more simple machines.
efficiency the ratio of the work put into that machine.
