Skin Lesions 101

primary and secondary lesions

small elevations of skin simular to vesticles in size and shape, containing pus pustules
a solid formation above the skin, often caused by an insect bite or allergic reaction wheals
solid masses in the skin tumors
appears as a disease progresses into the later stages of development secondary skin lesions
shedding, dead cells of the uppermost layer of the epidermis scales
round, dry patches of the skin, covered with rough, silvery scales. It is chronic and not contagious. psoriasis
