Dorsal Recumbent Position | Patient lies face upward with the knees bent and the fet flat on the examination table. |
Sims Positon | The patient lies on their left side with their left leg straight and their right leg bent. |
Lithotomy Position | The patient is on their back with their legs up in stirrups. |
High Fowler's Position | Patient is sitting up to a 90 degree angle. |
Semi Fowler's Position | Patient is sitting up at a 45 degree angle. |
Knee Chest Position | The patient rests on the knees and the chest with the head turned to one side while resting on both arms. |
Trendelenburg Position | The patient is lying flat face up and the hips and legs are straight and are elevated above the chest and head. |
