dividend the number in a division question
divisor the number by which another number is divided
product the result of multiplication
factor a number being multiplied
quotient the result of division
Sum the result of addition
who;e number all the counting numbers and zero
perimeter the total distance around a 2-d shape
prime number a number that has exactly two factors, itself and one
composite- a number that has more than 2 factors
difference subtraction answer
addends the numbers being added together
ratio an expression of the relationship between 2 numbers 3:2
even numbers numbers that can be divided by 2 without a remainder
fraction a common fraction is part of a whole,written as a numerator over a denominator
numerator the top number of a fraction designating the number of parts being used
denominator the bottom number of a fraction designating the number of equal parts in a whole
histogram a special type of bar graph displaying data
frequency table a method of pairing data with the number of times it has occured
