Strict isolation | Diphtheria, Plague, Chicken Pox |
Contact isolation | Conjunctivitis, Impetigo, Influenza, Rabies, Scabies, wound or skin infections |
Respiratory Isolation | Mumps, Measles, Meningitis |
AFB (Acid-Fast Bacilli) isolation | Active TB |
Enteric isolation | Gastroenteritis, Typhoid fever, Hepatitis A |
Drainage/secretion | Abscess, skin or wound infections, decubitus ulcers |
Reverse isolation | Burn patients, transplant patients, chemotherapy patients |
