Angle A figure formed by two rays with the same endpoint (vertex).
Approximate A number or measurement that is close to or near its exact value.
Area The measure, in square units, of the inside region of a closed two-dimensional figure(e.g., a rectangle with sides of 4 units by 6 units has an area of 24 square units).Area = base X height
Associative property The way in which three or more numbers are groupedfor addition or multiplication does not change their sum or product, respectively[e.g., (5 + 6) + 9 = 5 + (6 + 9) or (2 x 3) x 8 = 2 x (3 x 8)].
