Lines & Line Segment

Lines and line segments on a circle

Circle The set of all points in a plane that are equidistant from a given point.
Center The point from which all points of a circle are equidistant
Radius The segment between the center and point on a circle
Chord A segment on the interior of a circle whose endpoints are on a circle
Diameter A segment between 2 points on a circle, which passes thru the center of the circle.
Secant A line that intersects the circle at exactly one point
Tangent A line that intersects the circle at exactly one point.
