QuestionAnswer
Atom The smallest part of an element.
Molecule The combination of two or more atoms.
Acid A substance that tastes sour, reacts with metals and carbonates, and turns blue litmus red.
Base A substance that tastes bitter, feels slippery, and turns red litmus blue.
3 Phases of Matter Solid, Liquid, Gas
Solid Definite shape, definite volume, and slow moving molecules.
Liquid NO definite shape, has definite volume, and molecules move fast.
Gas Has NO definite shape, NO definite volume, and molecules move very fast.
pH Scale Measures of something is an acid or base.
