Compare Greater than, less than, or equal to (>, <, =)
Difference The answer in a subtraction problem.
Equal Worth the same value (=)
Even number A number that has a 0, 2,4,6,8 in the ones place. Example: 10, 22
Odd number A number that has 1,3,5,7,9 in the ones place. Example: 7, 13
Place value The value of where the digit is in the number.

Round Making a number simpler but keeping its value close to what it is. Example: 17 rounded to the nearest ten is 20
Skip counting Counting forwards or backwards by a number other than 1. Example: counting by 2's- 2, 4,6,8,10
Subtraction Taking one number away from another (-).
Sum The answer in an addition problem.
Value The worth of something.
Greater than (>) Bigger Example: 5>3
Less than (<) Smaller Example: 4<9
Equal to (=) The same Example: 7=7
