Foundation of trigon


Standard position of an angle. An angle is said to be in standard position if its vertex is the origin and its initial side coincides with the x-axis.
Quadrantal angle . A quadrantal angle has its terminal side lying on one of the coordinate axes.
Coterminal angles. Two angles are said to be coterminal if they share the same terminal side.
Definition of (Pi). Pi = (Circumference)/(Diameter).
Definition of Radian. The radian measure: theta = (arc)/(radius). A full revolution has: theta = (2*pi*radius)/(radius) = 2*pi.
Degree-Radian Conversion. 90 degrees => (1/2)*pi. 180 degrees => pi.
Average velocity formula. "v-bar" =(arc or displacement)/(time) = s/t. "v-bar" = (radius*radian)/(time).
Average angular velocity formula. "omega-bar" = (radian)/(time). => "v-bar" = "omega-bar"*radius.
