how was daltons work influenced by other people he read about the work of a French chemist, antoine lavoiser. Lavoiser had discovered that the air included at least two gases. this led him to ask the question.
What was daltons question How can water vapour and air still occupy the same space at the same time, when two substances in the solid state cannot.
what did Dalton find out about the nature of particles each element has its own type of atom. the atoms of different elements have different masses. compounds form when atoms of different elements join together. atoms are rearranged in chemical reactions.
