What is the Water Cycle

Temperature A measure of how hot something is.
Weather What is happening in the atmosphere at a certain place and time.
Precipitation What that falls from clouds to Earth's surface.
Atmosphere The layer of gases that surround Earth.
Water Cycle The movement of water from Earth's surface to the air and back again.
Oxygen A gas in the air and water, which most living things need to survive.
Salt Water Water found in oceans and seas; makes up 97% of Earth's water.
Evaporation The process by which a liquid changes into a gas.
Fresh Water Water that has very little salt in it.
Condensation The process by which a gas changes into a liquid.
