What is a mineralloid? Substance that has some but NOT ALL of the properties of a mineral
Which two elements are mineral resources, but are not minerals? Oil and Coal
What is an Ore? A rock or mineral that can be mined for a profit for what is inside it.
What is Clay used for? used to make liners and lanfills and bricks.
What are 3 ways Minerals form? The cooling of lava/magma. Evaporation of liquid containing dissolved. And Precipatation from mineral solution.
What are the elements that consist of 98% of the earth's crust? Oxygen 46.6, SIlicon 27.7, Aluminum, Iron, Calcium, Sodium, Potassium, and Magnesium.
