Calculating Pressure Pressure = force over area
Atmospheric pressure is exerted on everything on Earth
Most of Earth's atmospheric pressure is closer to Earth
If you travel to higher or lower points in the atmosphere . . . fluids in your body have to adjust to maintain equal pressure
What is a fluid that exerts pressure like the atmosphere does Water
When a diver goes deeper into the water atmospheric pressure and water pressure are part of the pressure on the diver
Water is about 1,000 times more dense than air
When you drink through a straw you remove some of the air in the straw - less air lowers the pressure
Inhaling decreases pressure in lungs
Tornado Air pressure inside is lower than air pressure outside
