Solve for X, Y, and Z via addition method: 3x+4y+9z=42 5x+y+2z=27 4x+2y+6z=34 X = 4 Y= 3 Z=2
Solve via substitution method: 45x+71y=1673 x=23+y x=28.5 y=5.5
A child's bank contains $8.50 worth of change. This change consists of quarters and nickels. How many of each type coin do they have? quarters=30 nickels=20
