Exercise Analysis

Exercise Precautions

Hip Avoid over-strengthening the iliopsoas. Encourage stretching for the iliopsoas
Spinal Column Avoid excessive hyper-extension. Unsupport forward flexion. Excessive rotation. More than one spinal movement at one time. Spinal movements involving momentums.
Knee Avoid weight bearing with locked knee. Avoid bearing weight with knee at angle less than 90o. Ensure proper knee alignment (knee not over toes)
Shoulder Avoid abduction with medial rotation (above shoulder). Muscular imbalances. Be cautious about impingement.
