Triangle | Polygon with three sides and three angles |

Quadrilateral | Polygon with four sides and four angles |

Pentagon | Polygon with five sides and five angles |

Hexagon | Polygon with six sides and six angles |

Heptagon | Polygon with seven sides and seven angles |

Octagon | Polygon with eight sides and eight angles |

Nonagon | Polygon with nine sides and nine angles |

Decagon | Polygon with ten sides and ten angles |

Equilateral triangle | Triangle with three equal sides 3 acute 60 degree angles |

Isosceles triangle | Triangle with two congruent sides, with all acute, one obtuse, or one right angle |

Scalene triangle | Triangle with no congruent sides, with all acute, one obtuse, or one right angle |

Acute triangle | Triangle where all angles are acute (less than 90 degrees) |

Obtuse triangle | Triangle where one angle is obtuse (greater than 90 degrees). The other two are acute. |

Right triangle | Triangle where one angle is a right angle (90 degrees). The other two are acute. |

Parallelogram | A quadrilateral where opposite sides are parallel and congruent. |

Rectangle | A quadrilateral that is a parallelogram and has four right angles |

Rhombus | A quadrilateral that is a parallelogram and has four congruent sides. |

Square | A quadrilateral that is a parallelogram and has four right angles (rectangle) and four congruent sides (rhombus). |

Trapezoid | A quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel sides. |

Regular Polygon | Polygon with all sides and all angles congruent |
