Wave Is a disturbance that moves through matter or space.
Transverse wave Is a wave that cause particles i matter to move back and forth in right angles to the directions in which the waves travle.
Compressional Wave It cause particles in matter to move back in forth along the same directions in which the waves travel.
Wave Length It is the distance between one point on a wave and the nearest point moving with the same speed and direction.
Frequency Is the number of wave lengths that pass by a point each second.
Law of refliction the angle that the incoming wave make with the normal equals the angle that outgoing wave make with the normal
Refraction Is the change in directions of a wave when it changes speed as it travels from one material to another
diffraction Is the bending of waves around an object
Opaque not able to let light through
translucent allowing light, but not detailed images, to pass through;
Transparent allowing light to pass through so that objects behind can be distinctly seen:
Reflect throw back (heat, light, or sound) without absorbing it
absorb take in or soak up
transmit cause (something) to pass on from one place or person to another:
