Area of a Square A = s to the 2nd power

Area of Parallelogram Base x height

Volume of a cylinder V = πr to the 2nd power times h

Percent Change Difference divided by Decimal (difference/original $ = percent change)
Simple Interest Interest = percent x rate x time I= ($) x (%) x (years)
Ratio for probability Desire divided by total
Rational Numbers numbers that can be written as a ratio or fraction ("all frats are rats")
Irrational Numbers Cannot be written as a ratio or a fraction (no bar, no pattern) Example: π - Pi
Scientific Notation a way to easily handle very large numbers or very small numbers (ex: 0.0000000056 = 5.6 x 10 to the -9 power)
Midpoint Value x1 + x2/2, y1 + y2/2 (subscript↓)
Complementary Angles either of two angles whose sum is 90 degrees
Supplementary Angles either of 2 angles whose sum is 180 degrees
