resistance exercise working against the resistance of an object, strengthens skeletal muscles
aerobic exercise moderately intense activities, strengthens the heart and increases indurance
tendon connect your skeletal muscles to your bones
dermis the layer of skin below the epidermis
sweat glands produce a salty liquid that helps cool the skin
melanin absorbs ultraviolet light from the sun, determines hair and skin color
skin cancer damage to the genetic material in the skin
