Human Characteristics human-designed features of a place or places that are related to humans, for instance cities, parks, roads, canals and farms. It also includes the food humans eat, the religions, cultures, and transport and communication networks.
Physical Characteristics feature of a substance or object that are primarily visually perceptible and generally measurable.
Formal Region a term used in geography to describe designated areas that have official boundaries such as counties, cities, states and countries.
